Aphios Corporation is seeking a full-time mechanical technician. This job will include the assembly of high-pressure stainless-steel prototypes utilizing Swagelok and other fittings, maintenance and repair pumps, valves and other equipment, making as well as following SOPs and keeping records. This job involves conducting experiments on and testing of prototypes in a laboratory setting as part of a team. This job also involves individual operations in a machine shop, and inventory organization and management of off-site storage.
Candidate must have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, and electronic and pneumatic controls, and good organizational and writing skills. Experience with ACAD, Solid Works or equivalent, and high pressure and supercritical fluid systems a plus. Ideal candidate must have a technical trade school certificate in a mechanical or related field or an Associate degree or higher in engineering or related discipline plus a minimum of 3 years mechanical technician experience.
