Community Involvement

Aphios® provides service to the community by sponsoring internships and Co-Op students, hosting site visits for high school and college students, providing mentorships to local and regional educational programs such as the Biomedical Science Careers Program at Harvard Medical School, nationally by reviewing grants for the National Institutes of Health and internationally by supporting malaria prevention and treatment efforts in Accra, Ghana.

Additionally, we have provided incubator laboratory space and cGMP facilities for biotechnology startups and niche facilities such as Biohazard Level 3 laboratories for established companies.

We have also sponsored radio and television health care advocacy programs and the reintroduction of military personnel into the private sector, and contribute to a number of nonprofit charities.
